At House of Dog, we offer a unique approach to daytime socialization for dogs. Unlike other facilities that follow PACFA rules allowing for 1 dog handler per 15, we prioritize the quality of play and the welfare of the dogs. We limit our groups to no more than 6 dogs per handler to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
Daytime Social Prime Package: $231

These packages are for dogs that are scheduled under Just Boarding for $60 and are friendly with people and other dogs. This package applies to puppies and small dog boarding as well.
You do not have to use the package by a certain time, the days do not have to be used in a row, no other discount can be used with this package. Unused package credits will apply to other services.

Starting 4/1/23 multiple dogs in the same family will receive a 20% discount on boarding if the dogs can share the same kennel. If the dogs need separate kennels you will receive a 10% discount.
Cautious Dog boarding is for dogs that can NOT play with other dogs and therefore need more quality time with a human friend for TLC and play.
For ALL our boarders Mental Enrichment, Love and extra time out of the kennel is always included! Other add-ons available.
Cautious Dog Additional Services fall under "Board&Train". Please note you will need a meeting with a trainer (assessment) before booking those.

Please note that the additional service walks are weather permitting. In the summer that means if it is too hot, we are not risking the dog's paws being burned on the asphalt. Or it could mean thunderstorms. In the winter in extreme cold or snow, we will not risk anybody's safety. Alternatively we may spend extra time out of the kennel with your dog in the office or the lobby and just cuddle or play. We will let you know in pawgress reports.
***Price may be reduced to standard boarding rates if the dog stops being reactive towards HoDT employees.

Cancellation/Refund Policies
As we have limited space, Boarding, Board&Train, Daytime Socials, Dayschool, and group classes are on a “first come and first served” basis. Often, there is a waitlist for open slots for these services. Therefore, “no-shows” are inconsiderate to HoD and other clients when we have held a spot for you. Private Lessons at the facility or your home are reserved time specifically for you; failure to cancel wastes time and resources, especially if a trainer has driven to your home.
Please note our cancellation and refund policies for our various Services:
Boarding (non Holiday)

New clients will have to pay a refundable deposit of 50% of their expected boarding fee at the time of booking. The deposit will be forfeit if the reservation is not cancelled at least 72 hours from the first day of the reservation.

Established clients will pay a refundable deposit of 20% of their expected boarding fee at the time of booking. The deposit will be forfeit if the reservation is not cancelled at least 72 hours from the first day of the reservation.

HoD acknowledges that unforeseen circumstances out of our control do happen. Please still notify HoD within that three day window, for a $10.00 late cancellation fee in emergency situations at HoD discretion.
Boarding (Holiday)

At certain peak times throughout the year (including, but not limited to: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Day, Easter, 4th of July), a $25 Holiday Deposit will apply for Boarding and Board&Train in addition to your above deposits. That deposit will be applied to your final bill and is refundable only,

if you cancel at least 10 days before the actual Holiday. (For example 12/15 for Christmas reservation). Any other cases, this deposit will be forfeit (even in emergencies).
Assessment

A $50 non-refundable deposit will be charged at the time of booking. If you cancel your appointment at least 24 hours ahead of time, we will be happy to reschedule for a different day. A no-call, no show forfeits the $20 deposit and you will have to pay a new fee to schedule a new appointment.

If you are not sure that you will be a good fit, we still offer our 15 minute FREE “get to know you call”.

Refunds may be given pro-rated up until 3 weeks into the class start date. After that we can issue a credit (pro-rated, minus the $20 admin fee. We may wave that admin if it was decided after consulting with your trainer that this is the wrong class for you.) that can be used for any of our services (not valid for merchandise).

Private Lesson at Facility

Please notify us at least 24 hours ahead of your scheduled reservation. (If you do NOT receive our confirmation/reminder emails, please let us know!).

Failure to cancel at least 24 hours ahead of your scheduled appointment or reservation and not keeping that appointment will result in a charge of 50% of your total fee.

There are no refunds for services already rendered. Refunds are given on a case by case basis and under extenuating circumstances at HoD discretion (examples: your dog is sick, you are sick, other emergencies or in case of group classes you may receive a pro-rated refund for lessons not taken.) Exceptions are made for Active Duty Service Members with orders.
Covid 19
There are no fees/penalties for Covid-19 related cancellations.
